Hon Tunji Akinosi Hails Constituents as FG Begins Ota-Idiroko Road Expansion

Akinosi noted that when the expansion is completed, it will significantly improve transportation and stimulate economic growth within the Federal Constituency

Honourable Tunji Akinosi, the representative for Ado-Odo/Ota Federal Constituency in the National Assembly, has expressed gratitude and commended his constituency for their support and sacrifice for the Ota-Idiroko road expansion project.

The Federal Government on Thursday, 4th July, 2024 commenced the demolition of buildings to pave way for the expansion works on the Ota-Idiroko road.

Mr Akinosi, an esteemed Engineer and a Fellow of the Nigerian Society of Engineers, has been a leading advocate for the Road expansion.

He alao reaffirmed his commitment to ensuring that the project is completed efficiently and to the highest standards.

“We acknowledge that this expansion may bring temporary discomfort to our community,” he stated. “However, this is a necessary sacrifice for the long-term benefits that this project will bring.”

He noted that when the expansion is completed, it will significantly improve transportation and stimulate economic growth within the Federal Constituency.

While acknowledging the support provided by the State Government under the leadership of His Excellency, Prince Dapo Abiodun (CON), Hon. Akinosi emphasized that as the people’s representative in Abuja, he will continue to collaborate with the State Government to ensure that the Contractor receives all the necessary support for the speedy completion of the road expansion.

He further highlighted the importance of creating a conducive environment for the Contractor to facilitate the timely completion of the road expansion project.

“The State and Federal Government are committed to implementing policies that positively impact the lives of the good people of Ogun State and as your representative in Abuja, I am dedicated to securing all necessary support for the successful completion of this project,” Hon. Akinosi declared.
