As part of this initiative, Lawal personally visited Iyana Iwoye along Osi-Ota off Iganmode road, where residents had turned into dumping grounds. He immediately took action to clear the refuse and debris, ensuring that the spaces were restored to a cleaner state. He further announced plans to install signposts to warn against future indiscriminate dumping in these areas.
To reinforce the importance of maintaining a clean environment, the Council Chairman has made it clear that his administration will not tolerate any form of environmental degradation.
He has vowed to prosecute anyone found guilty of illegal dumping, sending a strong message that offenders will face legal consequences.
