In a clear demonstration of his administration’s commitment to grassroots governance and improved healthcare delivery, the Chairman of Ado-Odo/Ota Local Government, Hon. Lawal Adewale Wasiu, FCA, has carried out an inspection visit to the Atan Ota Health Centre.
The visit, aimed at assessing service delivery and reinforcing government oversight of public health facilities, saw the council boss engage directly with healthcare workers and patients, while evaluating the state of infrastructure and quality of services at the facility.
Hon. Lawal commended the dedication and resilience of medical personnel at the centre, describing their efforts as critical to sustaining primary healthcare services for residents of Atan Ota and surrounding communities.
Acknowledging the strategic importance of the health centre, which serves a densely populated axis of the local government, the chairman noted that existing challenges must be urgently addressed to improve service efficiency and patient care. He assured the staff that his administration is committed to prioritising healthcare infrastructure, manpower support, and essential medical resources.
The council chairman stressed that quality healthcare remains a core component of his development agenda, adding that effective primary healthcare delivery is fundamental to social stability and economic growth at the grassroots.
