Philanthropist and politician, Engr. Temitayo Agemo-Okuboyejo, has called on residents of Ado-Odo/Ota Local Government Area of Ogun State to embrace the virtues of love, humility, tolerance, and peaceful coexistence as they celebrate Christmas.
In her Christmas goodwill message to the people of the local government, Agemo-Okuboyejo extended warm felicitations to residents, urging them to use the festive season as a moment of reflection on shared humanity and collective responsibility.
She emphasised that the spirit of Christmas goes beyond celebrations, describing it as a solemn reminder of the importance of selfless service to humanity, which she said must be embraced collectively for the progress of the council area.
According to her, sustainable peace remains the foundation for meaningful development, both in human capacity and infrastructure.
“The ethos of selfless service to humanity must be our collective responsibility, guided by a shared commitment to peaceful coexistence, which remains the surest path to prosperity and development,” she said.
Agem-Okuboyejo further noted that Christmas symbolises resilience, unity, and shared purpose, calling on residents to remain steadfast in promoting harmony within their communities.
She offered prayers for households across the local government, expressing optimism for a better year ahead.
