She also recognized the spiritual guidance of the Missioner, Sheikh (Barrister) Ali Daud.

“I also extend my sincere regards to the Missioner, Sheikh (Barrister) Ali Daud, whose spiritual guidance and teachings continue to strengthen our faith and deepen our understanding of Islam.”

Her message further celebrated the contributions of the Chairperson.

“My special greetings go as well to the Chairperson, Alhaja Bushira Dada, for her dedication and service to the Ummah.”

Highlighting the spiritual significance of Ramadan, Agemo-Okuboyejo described the holy month as a period of renewed devotion and moral discipline.

“Ramadan is a month of reflection, sacrifice, compassion, and renewed devotion to Allah (SWT). It reminds us of the virtues of patience, charity, unity, and discipline. As we fast and engage in acts of worship, may our prayers be accepted, our shortcomings forgiven, and our hearts purified,” she said.

In a heartfelt segment of her message, the engineer-turned-politician offered special prayers for women, acknowledging the critical roles they play during Ramadan.

“I would like to offer special heartfelt prayers to the women of the Society — our mothers, wives, sisters, and daughters — who carry the heavy responsibility of domestic duties during Ramadan. While they observe their fast and fulfill their spiritual obligations, they also ensure that families are nourished and homes are well kept.”

She prayed for divine reward and strength for them, saying, “May Almighty Allah reward their sacrifices abundantly, grant them strength, ease their burdens, and multiply their blessings beyond measure.”

Agemo-Okuboyejo concluded with broader prayers for homes, communities, and the nation.

“May this holy month bring peace to our homes, progress to our community, and unity to our nation. May Allah (SWT) accept our fasts, prayers, and acts of charity, and grant us the grace to witness many more Ramadans in good health and prosperity.”

She ended her message with: “Ramadan Kareem! Ramadan Mubarak!! Jazakumullahu Khairan.”

Her goodwill message adds to the growing chorus of community leaders in Ado-Odo/Ota and across Ogun State who are using the Ramadan season to promote unity, compassion, and spiritual renewal.
