As Lagos State Commissioner for Environment and Water Resources, Tokunbo Wahab marks his 54th birthday, tributes and goodwill messages have continued to pour in from admirers, associates, and stakeholders who have commended his contributions to the environmental transformation of Lagos State.

Among those who celebrated the commissioner is Ayo Mojoyin, media entrepreneur and Chief Executive Officer of The City Pulse, who described Wahab as a visionary leader, dedicated public servant, and one of the most hardworking members of Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu’s administration.

In his birthday tribute, Mojoyin applauded Wahab’s unwavering commitment to building a cleaner, safer, and more sustainable Lagos through strategic environmental reforms and urban renewal projects.

He noted that the commissioner’s efforts in flood control, sanitation advocacy, environmental sustainability, and public health initiatives have continued to boost public confidence in governance and service delivery across the state.

Mojoyin also praised Wahab’s personal qualities, describing him as humble, intelligent, accessible, and calm in the discharge of his duties — attributes he said have earned the commissioner admiration from many Lagos residents and observers of governance.
