Top Brands Partner Adesoye Dynasty Ahead Ojude Oba 2026
Leading consumer brands including Indomie Noodles, CWAY, Eagle Aromatic Schnapps and GIDI have thrown their weight behind the prestigious Balogun Fasasi Adesoye Dynasty ahead of the much-anticipated Ojude Oba 2026 festival in Ijebu Ode, Ogun State.
The partnerships further reinforce the growing national recognition and cultural influence of the Adesoye Dynasty, a family widely celebrated for its regal appearance, glamour and rich display of tradition during the annual Ojude Oba festival.
For decades, the descendants of the late Balogun Fasasi Adesoye have remained one of the most admired family groups at Ojude Oba, consistently captivating spectators with their coordinated royal regalia, elegance and cultural sophistication.
The endorsement by the major brands is seen by many observers as a reflection of the dynasty’s enduring prestige and the strong cultural identity the family represents within Ijebuland and beyond.
Speaking on the development, a representative of the family said the partnerships symbolise a shared appreciation for culture, heritage and community celebration.
“The Adesoye Dynasty has always stood for excellence, unity and cultural pride. We are honoured that respected brands such as Indomie, CWAY, Eagle Aromatic Schnapps and GIDI have chosen to identify with our family as we prepare for Ojude Oba 2026,” the representative said.
He added that the family remains committed to preserving the values handed down by their late patriarch, Balogun Fasasi Adesoye, whose legacy continues to shape the dynasty’s presence at the globally celebrated cultural festival.
“Our appearance at Ojude Oba is beyond fashion and display; it is about preserving heritage, honouring our roots and showcasing the beauty of Ijebu culture to the world,” he stated.
Meanwhile, preparations have already intensified at the family’s famous Oke Ijasi mansion, popularly known as “Ile Gorogoro,” which traditionally serves as one of the busiest entertainment and social hubs during the Ileya and Ojude Oba celebrations.
The historic mansion, built over six decades ago, is expected to host a series of activities ranging from cultural entertainment to social gatherings in the days leading to the festival.
Ojude Oba 2026 is expected to attract global attention as it will be the first edition of the cultural festival to hold without the revered Awujale and Paramount Ruler of Ijebuland, Oba Sikiru Kayode Adetona, in more than 60 years following the monarch’s passing.
The development has added emotional significance to this year’s celebration, with many families and cultural groups preparing elaborate tributes in honour of the late monarch’s enduring legacy in Ijebuland.
