Afrobeats superstar David Adeleke, popularly known as Davido, has thanked God following the victory of his uncle, Governor Ademola Adeleke, in the Osun State governorship election.
The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) declared Ademola Adeleke the winner of the keenly contested election on Sunday.
Davido had openly backed his uncle during the election campaign and closely monitored the voting process as the results were announced.
Reacting shortly after INEC declared Adeleke the winner, the singer took to his verified X account to celebrate the outcome.
“Yeah, that is my boss. This victory is for all. That’s the reason for the struggle,” Davido wrote.
The singer’s reaction came shortly after the official declaration, marking his first public response to his uncle’s victory.
