Former Big Brother Naija housemate Kess has opened up about the difficulties contestants face after exiting the reality show, insisting that the competition extends far beyond the walls of the house.
In a reflective post on X, Kess stated that whether a contestant wins or not, departing the show marks the beginning of a more complicated existence.
“Big Brother makes your life harder. Winner or not, the moment you leave that house, you’re dealing with a version of life that is far more complicated than the one you left behind,” he wrote.
He noted that while former housemates often receive encouraging words upon their return to everyday life, they must still battle for relevance, attention and opportunities in a crowded space.
“Everywhere, words of encouragement. Baba, press money join,” Kess added.
Highlighting the scale of the franchise, he pointed out that Big Brother Naija has produced 249 housemates across 11 seasons, creating intense rivalry both inside and outside the show.
“Big Brother Naija has dished out 249 housemates in 11 seasons. Competition inside and outside the show,” he concluded.
