Africa’s billionaire industrialist and Chairman of BUA Group, Abdul Samad Rabiu, has marked his birthday with a heartfelt message of gratitude, attributing his life’s journey, business success and personal achievements to God’s faithfulness.
Reflecting on the occasion, Rabiu described his birthday as more than a personal celebration, saying it was an opportunity to acknowledge God’s grace and the blessings that have shaped his life over the years.
“I am grateful to the Almighty for the gift of life, for His grace that has sustained me, and for the countless blessings that continue to unfold in my journey,” he said.
“Every experience, every lesson, and every achievement has been a testament to His goodness.”
The businessman, whose conglomerate has become one of Africa’s leading industrial groups, also expressed appreciation to his family and friends for their unwavering support throughout his journey.
“To my family and friends, thank you for your unwavering love, support, prayers, and encouragement. Your presence in my life is a blessing I never take for granted,” he said.
Looking ahead, Rabiu said he was embracing a new chapter with renewed optimism, faith and a commitment to greater purpose.
“As I step into this new year, I do so with gratitude in my heart, faith in my spirit, and hope for all that lies ahead. May this chapter be filled with greater purpose, joy, growth, and endless possibilities.”
He concluded with a prayer: “Cheers to another year of grace, growth, and God’s endless blessings.”
Rabiu’s birthday message comes just weeks after he was named Africa CEO of the Year at the 2026 Africa CEO Forum Awards in Kigali, Rwanda, in recognition of his leadership and contributions to industrial development across the continent.
Receiving the continental honour in May, the BUA founder dedicated the award to his team, saying the recognition reflected a collective commitment to excellence rather than individual accomplishment.
