A two-term former member of the Ogun State House Assembly, Hon. Aina Nurudeen Akinpelu has congratulated the Christians on the occasion of the 2022 Easter.
In a goodwill message, Akinpelu, the current commissioner II of the Ogun State Judicial Commission, called on all residents in Ado-Odo/Ota and the State at large to emulate Jesus Christ’s exemplary and selfless life as espoused by Christian faithful world over.
He further urged them to be peaceful and shun all vices inimical to the ideals and teachings of Jesus Christ.
Akinpelu stressed that the death and resurrection of Jesus are significant to mankind, especially at these trying times when the world needs love, patience and perseverance.
“I would like to send my warm greetings to all the Christians in this local government and Ogun State on the occasion of Easter,” Akinpelu said. “I pray the significance of this special day would not be lost as we move to another important year in the political history of our state and country. Happy Easter to you all.”
