Senate President Bukola Saraki, Speaker Federal House of Representatives, Yakubu Dogara and eminent Nigerians have reacted to the death of former Chief of Defence Staff, Air Chief Marshal Alex Badeh.
The ex-service chief was shot dead by some unknown gunmen along the Abuja-Keffi Road on his way back from his farm.
Many Nigerians have taken to social media to air their views regarding the rather unfortunate event.
Notable on the list of those who have decried the murder of Badeh is the Senate President Saraki.
Senator Saraki taking to his Twitter page said the death of Badeh is a great loss to the nation.
He prayed that the family and the army be granted the fortitude to bear the loss.
Similarly, the Speaker of the House of Representatives, Hon. Dogara in addressing the death of Badeh said the news is both saddening and alarming.
He also extended his thoughts and prayers to the family, hoping that the perpetrators of the killing will be apprehended soon.
