The governor of the state, Babajide Sanwo-Olu had earlier announced a 24-hour curfew, starting from 4:00PM on Tuesday, but he later shifted the start time to 9:00PM.

Apparently, the change of time has not helped the ongoing situation.

Security agents move into Lekki at about 6:30 pm.

The light of the general protest ground was turned off.

Earlier, security cameras were removed. Photographs of the removal were seen on the internet.
