The late chief of staff was announced dead of COVID-19 complications on Friday.

Abba Kyari, the deceased Chief of Staff of President Muhammadu Buhari, has been laid to rest at the Gudu Cemetery in Abuja on Saturday.

Femi Adesina, Special Adviser to the President on Media and Publicity announced Kyari’s death in the early hours of Saturday. 

The deceased had tested positive to the ravaging COVID-19 on the 27th of March, 2020 and was receiving treatment in Lagos before his death.

Kyari was aged 82
