Celebrity chef, Hilda Bassey Efiong has congratulated Alan Fisher, an Irish chef based in Japan for breaking two longest cooking marathon Guinness World Records by an individual.
Alan Fisher, an Irish restaurant owner and chef based in Japan, on Monday broke two Guinness World Records relating to cooking marathons.
Fisher cooked continuously for 119 hours 57 minutes, surpassing the previous record of 93 hours 11 minutes set by Nigerian chef Hilda Baci earlier this year.
He also broke the record for the longest baking marathon, baking for 47 hours and 21 minutes, beating the prior record of 31 hours and 16 minutes.
Reacting to the feat, the Nigerian celebrity chef congratulated Fisher on her X page.
”Huge congratulations to Alan Fisher! 119hrs 57mins is a huge achievement, and I wish him all the best as the new world record holder,” Hilda stated on her X page.
