The entertainment industry in Nigeria has witnessed quite a great expansion in the last few years. But the reality is that radio cannot be pushed to the back roll.

Asking what stood him out among his contemporaries, ‘Finest Boy On Radio’ said “As a versatile On-air-Personality who has become a force to reckon with on the streets, owing to my indebt understanding of every part of the regular man’s daily struggles, that helps me to coin ideas that will take the stress of many with educative, entertaining and irresistible content”.

My lovers would keep calling in to commend the abilities to help them smile and find faith in their daily struggle for a living. The idea is that the content must be rich always so as not to disappoint my teaming fans. To add icing to the initiative, I took it to the level of Skit making and God bless it with massive love from viewers”.

Speaking on how much he understood the Lagos street credibility despite been a native of Ondo State he opined “I was born and schooled in Lagos all through early years, from primary school to secondary school.  You may say my career as a broadcaster is divine. My parents wanted him to be a lawyer because there was a family friend who was a judge. Though they didn’t force it but I choose to broadcast. My sojourn in life took me to Ekiti where I worked as a freelance graphic designer, Content Writer and Screen Play Writer. I later moved to Lagos to become an event Compere one of which I anchored an evening belt entertainment programme on Unilag 103.1FM in University of Lagos for a while then returned to Ekiti State where I worked as on air personality on Voice 89.9FM, Ado-Ekiti”.

Talking about his wealth of experience, ‘Finest Boy On Radio’ is a broadcast producer, Sound designer, graphic designer, content creator, scriptwriter as well as an On-Air-Personality, he affirmed.

In the course of the conversation, he revealed that his craft and consistency caught the attention of DuxFM management who brought him closer to Lagos state again, Ogun State precisely to become an On-Air-Personality. “The level of acceptance within few months is overwhelming as listeners span across, Ogun, Lagos and Oyo state. Whenever I am on air, the show of love always make me to put in my best always to satisfy my fans the more”.

When asked how he come about the name ‘Finest Boy On Radio’ he said “I coined the name when I was going on air on a popular campus radio station in Lagos some years back. It’s a program I won’t want my real name on because of family’s standard and the rest is history today.

Speaking further, he stated, “Another of my driving force is to give room to new entrants into the music industry and that is why I showcase their songs on my shows regularly. Somebody must give them accolades for their trials and I decided to do it with the help of my fans via calls to choose who does it better and i reward them in my own little ways. I don’t despise the days of little beginning so I encourage them”.

He concluded that next on his sleeve is the Dr Kondokto Live Show which will be an annual event. The first edition he said is slated for middle of the year 2022 and he is ready to explore all that will make it a successful show.
