The National Union of Road Transport Workers (NURTW), Lagos State Council, has been thrown into mourning following the death of its Organising Secretary, Comrade Toba Ajiboye.
Ajiboye’s passing was confirmed in a heartfelt tribute by a close associate, who described him as a loyal, dependable, and committed union leader whose contributions to the NURTW and unwavering support for TeamSego and SegoNation would be remembered for years to come.
The tribute portrayed the late union official as a trusted friend and pillar of strength, noting that his dedication, loyalty, and selfless service left a lasting impact on colleagues and everyone privileged to work alongside him.
Following the announcement of his death, condolences have continued to pour in from friends, associates, and members of the NURTW Lagos State Council, who prayed for God to forgive his shortcomings, grant him eternal rest, and comfort his family during this difficult time.
The cause of Ajiboye’s death was not disclosed.
His passing marks a significant loss to the Lagos State chapter of the NURTW, where he served as Organising Secretary until his death. May his soul rest in peace.
