Ogun State House of Assembly aspirant from Yewa South State constituency, Mr Adebayo John Orebiyi has promised to focus on good governance, infrastructural development, unity, peace, employment, quality representation and qualitative education if supported to become a member of the State House of Assembly.

Speaking yesterday at a consultation meeting held at Oke Odan town hall, Bayo Orebiyi (BOM) said his aim is to make Yewa South a worthy place for all her indigenes and indigents.

“A constituency that will be a shining light throughout the State and country at large.”

Youthful Adebayo is aspiring under the platform of All Progressive Congress (APC).

According to him, his plan is to establish a society in which all sons and daughters of his constituency will have access to good medical service; a society where disease is brought under control, where educational facilities would be provided for the schools with the best possible opportunities for learning.

He noted that he will operate an all-inclusive representation through regular consultations with the people of Yewa South State Constituency and come up with the best policies and programmes to achieve a common goal- ‘Human and physical development.’

Stressing further, Mr Adebayo also promised to ‘improve the living standard of the people of Yewa South State Constituency irrespective of tribe, religion or political affiliation.’

According to him, the realisation of good governance in the constituency demands the collective efforts of all stakeholders, noting that the starting point is through the election of a credible person that has the capacity to transform.

He advised the party faithful as well as all residents in the council area to participate actively in the ongoing voters’ registration exercise which he said; “It is the only alternative that will afford the people to participate in all the electoral process and of course the opportunity to pick credible candidates who are genuinely willing to serve.”

The event was attended by community leaders, traditional rulers as well as members of a gubernatorial aspirant, Sen. Solomon Adeola Yayi’s group, Yayi APC movement.

A group of youths and businessmen in Oke Odan, Concerned Indigenes of Oke Odan (CIOO) however unanimously endorsed Adebayo John Orebiyi as their candidate as they pledge their full support for his aspiration.
