Nollywood actress, Biola Bayo has expressed her heartfelt gratitude to her colleague, Ibrahim Chatta, for his remarkable kindness and support during a challenging time.
In a detailed Instagram post, Biola shared her struggles with booking guests for her show, which involved facing constant rejections that left her feeling disheartened.
However, she highlighted how Ibrahim Chatta responded to her last-minute request to appear on her show, despite his busy schedule and his residence in Oyo State.
Biola was deeply moved by Ibrahim’s encouraging words, where he referred to her as a “good person.” His support brought her to tears. She celebrated his kindness, describing him as “one in a million” and prayed for God’s continued blessings in his life.
She further asked her fans to pray for Ibrahim, expressing her sincere appreciation for his unwavering support.
She wrote on Instagram: “Getting guests on the show has to be one of the most difficult experiences I’ve had, the constant rejection from people, even your buddies will say “NO” for different reasons.
“Rejection can be very hurtful, but I have no anger or offense against anyone; instead, I concentrate on getting better daily till I become a force to be reckoned with. Hopefully when I get to the top someday by God’s grace “I will “
“I would be shooting 4 episodes on Monday and 2 people canceled on me on Sunday, I had no hope of getting anyone within such short notice, and I was very unhappy considering the amount of money I would be losing if I didn’t shoot on Monday and of course, someone’s life was on line @abdul__orazaq I had to shoot. On Sunday evening, I thought of whom to call for a long time till I heard in my spirit (call Ibrahim) that sounded impossible, knowing how busy he is and considering the fact that he doesn’t live in Lagos (from Oyo? How?) I took the bold step and called. Fortunately, he picked me, and he was very happy to hear from me after a long time.
“He asked about the show, and I told him some of the challenges I’ve been facing was getting people to come. Then he said, “Why would anyone say no to you? You’re a good person. I was close to tears, and then he said, “You know what? I’ll come tomorrow; I’ll cancel some appointments for you. I don’t even have what to wear in Lagos, but I’ll get something to wear and make sure to be there before I leave Lagos tomorrow.
“It sounded too good to be true; I could not believe my ears, but yeah. Here we are today.
