Temi Nkem, whose real name is Temitope Nkemdilim Chigbue, has been crowned the winner of Big Brother Naija Season 11 following a dramatic grand finale on Sunday.
The 21-year-old finance student and lifestyle creator secured victory with 25.87% of the final public votes, narrowly ahead of Aikou (23.68%) and Sheba (9.80%). Her win came after 70 days in the house and marked the culmination of a carefully calculated campaign.
The finale began with nine housemates still in contention. Barry was the first to exit, followed by Oyin and Ricky, then Flora and Tram. Bluethopia’s eviction left Temi Nkem, Aikou and Sheba as the final three.
Nigerian artistes Teni and Oshamo delivered live performances as the season drew to a close.
Temi Nkem entered the house with a bold declaration — “I bring luxury, I bring spice” — and quickly established herself as one of the season’s most outspoken and polarising personalities. Born and raised in London with Nigerian roots (her father hails from Ibusa in Delta State and her mother from Ebute Metta in Lagos), she is currently studying Accounting and Finance while pursuing a treasury qualification.
In a revealing diary session, she admitted that parts of her public persona had been strategic. “As much as I’m telling you that Biggie I was here for fun, these people don’t know that I was the one who had the best strategy,” she said. “Me walking in through these doors and all of this persona, this act or whatever I was doing… is it really me? We will never know, but me, I know myself. I would say some was real, some was fake so I really love to be underestimated in this house.”
Viewers came to know her for her unfiltered commentary, entertaining diary sessions, signature “Chakam” catchphrase, confidence and game awareness. Her dedicated fanbase, the Teminators, played a key role in propelling her to victory.
Temi Nkem’s triumph cements her place as one of Season 11’s most distinctive housemates — a contestant who blended humour, boldness and strategy to claim the ultimate prize.
