Odebiyi applaud Olota for showing his penchant to always promote the rich history, culture and tourism in Ogun West Senatorial District
Senator Tolu Odebiyi, representing Ogun West Senatorial District in the National Assembly, on Saturday, congratulated His Royal Majesty, Oba Prof. AbdulKabir Adeyemi Obalanlege (Lanlege Ekun II) and the people of Ota on the success of the 2021 edition of Iganmode cultural festival otherwise known as ‘Odun Omo Iganmode Afeleja.’
The grand finale of the Aworis’ biggest cultural fiesta was held today, Saturday, 18th December 2021.
In a statement released senator’s media team, Odebiyi said “I join Kabiyesi, His Royal Majesty, Oba Dr Abdul Kabir Adeyemi Obalanlege, sons and daughters of Ota Kingdom both home and abroad, as well as visitors to the strategic and industrial community of Ota on the celebration of Iganmode festival, today, Saturday, 18th December 2021”.
The Ogun west Senator added that he uses the celebration of this important festival to commend Kabiyesi for playing a pivotal role in the development and maintenance of peace in the strategic and industrial Community of Otta and its environs.
While showing his penchant to always promote the rich history, culture and tourism in Ogun West Senatorial District, the Senator notes that the festival has grown into a major social activity for all, over the years.
Sen. Odebiyi prays that, as the revered monarch, Oba Obalanlege and the good people of Otta Kingdom celebrate Iganmode cultural festival today, God will continue to bring enduring peace and development to the Ota Kingdom and grant Kabiyesi more exciting years in good health.
