Nigerian singer, Naira Marley has reacted to a trending video of guests dancing to his song ‘Coming’ at the wedding of Yusuf Buhari, son of President Muhammadu Buhari.

Yusuf took Zahra, daughter of the Emir of Bichi, Nasiru Ado Bayero, as wife at an elaborate ceremony in Bichi, Kano State, on Friday.

The wedding Fatiha was conducted at the Emir’s Palace with the Minister of Communication and Digital Economy, Isa Ali Pantami, presiding, after payment of N500,000, as dowry.

However, social media users have criticised playing Naira Marley’s song at the occasion, which attracted the high and mighty in the country.

Reacting to the criticism, the “Marlian” President wished he was invited to the wedding as the video shows the event was fun-filled.

Naira Marley, who described himself as a ‘hit maker’ noted at the sound of his music, every form of decorum flies out of the window.

Sharing a video of the guests vibing to his songs on his Instagram page, Naira Marley wrote: “This was at Buhari’s son wedding yesterday in Kano. I’m a certified hitmaker apparently, anytime you hear Naira Marley your home training must japa.

“I wish I was at this wedding sha looks too fun, I love them in the North and they love me too.”
