The Oyo State House of Assembly has asked Governor Seyi Makinde to constitute the Amotekun Corps immediately to curtail growing insecurity in the state.

Amotekun Corps is the state security agency network which was recently established under the Oyo State law.

The House, on Tuesday, stressed that the call for the need to urgently constitute the corps became necessary following heinous activities of criminal herdsmen who recently attacked some parts of the state.
