Jimi Agbaje’s convoy attacked in Lagos

The campaign convoy of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) governorship candidate in Lagos State, Mr Jimi Agbaje was on Thursday attacked by hoodlums at Iba in Ojo, west of the state.

According to News Agency of Nigeria (NAN), the convoy had just left the palace of the Oniba of Iba, Oba Goriola Oseni when it came under ferocious attack.

Mr Agbaje had gone to the monarch to inform him of his plan to hold his campaign rally in the area later in the day before the incident.

Reports gathered indicate hoodlums, numbering about 40 attacked the convoy while driving out of the place. Stones, sticks were reportedly thrown at the vehicles.

No arrest has been made so far as the time of filling in this report.

As the convoy was driving out, hoodlums, numbering about 40, chased and threw stones at Agbaje’s vehicles.
