As the presidential candidate for the New Nigeria People’s Party (NNPP) in the 2023 election Kwankwaso emphasized the importance of such high-level consultations
Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso, the leader of the prominent northern group known as Kwankwasiyya, has disclosed the agenda of his recent visit to former President Olusegun Obasanjo. Accompanied by former

During their meeting, they discussed significant national issues, particularly the future of politics and governance in Nigeria.
As the presidential candidate for the New Nigeria People’s Party (NNPP) in the 2023 election, which resulted in President Bola Tinubu’s victory, Kwankwaso emphasized the importance of such high-level consultations.
This meeting with Obasanjo, a respected elder statesman with considerable influence both nationally and internationally, is a part of Kwankwaso’s efforts to position himself as a frontrunner in the race for the presidency.
