Yahaya Bello named as a co-conspirator in the Fraud case
He reportedly evaded arrest yesterday when the commission visited his home to enforce arrest
The immediate past governor of Kogi state, Mr Yahaya Bello, has been declared wanted by the EFCC.
He reportedly evaded arrest yesterday when the commission visited his home in Abuja to enforce arrest.
This is coming a month after the EFCC charged Ali Bello, the chief of staff to Usman Ododo, the current governor of Kogi State, with money laundering, and named Mr Yahaya Bello as a co-conspirator in the case.
Mr Ali and Mr Daudu Suleiman are the two defendants in the 17-count amended charge, which alleges that they illegally diverted about N100 billion from Kogi state’s government treasury.
