… Rallies support for Party
The Believe Movement, a sociopolitical substructure within the APC in Ogun State and championed by a Party Chieftain, Prince Gboyega Nasir Isiaka, met on Thursday in Abeokuta to assess issues bothering on the progress of it’s members and the party in Ogun State.
The Group which moved into the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) January this year, commended the inclusive leadership style of HE, Prince Dapo Abiodun.
According to the group, “The Governor has shown good faith by giving some appointments at various levels for our members. This to us, are positive signs of integration”.Â

The meeting also acknowledged efforts of the Governor at developing the state. “The task of governance is huge and having started on a good note, we urge the administration to implement it’s growth agenda such that every Ogun citizen irrespective of their location and affiliation, can be proud of an equitable and prosperous state that takes care of the interest of all”.
Despite commending the Governor and the party leadership, members of the group firmly called for better integration at the grassroot and more opportunities for the group within the party and governance structure.
“As a subgroup loyal to the party and the Governor, we call for more acceptability and participation at various layers of the party. We also believe there exists relevant capacities and competencies within our fold that can be utilized in enhancing the governance process”.
The meeting had in attendance leadership representatives from the 20 local government areas of the state.
