As political parties gear up to elect candidates for the impending 2023 general elections, an All Progressives Congress (APC) aspirant for Ogun West senatorial seat, Gboyega Nasir Isiaka, has declared his legislative agenda to the people of the district; promising effective and qualitative representation at the senate.

Isiaka made the submission during his ongoing grassroots consultative tours around the 59 electoral wards of Ogun West, in seeking the mandate of the executives and members of the party.

During his visits to Ebute, Ohunbe, Ijoun and Eggua Wards in Ketu state constituency of Yewa North Local Government, Isiaka unveiled part of his legislative agenda stating that his plan is to provide effective representation through multiple channels of contributions and facilitation.

According to him, “My first agenda will be to meet up with the primary responsibility of all legislators which is to robustly contribute to debates, bills and move motions on matters of national importance. After that, I will sponsor developmental bills in the areas of economic growth, poverty reduction and human capital development of our people and structural reforms”.

The investment guru highlighted in specific terms, his plans for Yewa-Awori citizens if elected to the upper Chamber of the national assembly.

He said, ” I will use my experience to drive investment opportunities to our environment so as to boost SMEs and create jobs across the district. More importantly, I will be facilitating federal government projects, programmes and initiatives to Ogun West communities, which will be provided for in the budgetary allocations of MDAs and donor agencies”.

Continuing, “Please be also assured that over and beyond the regular direct interface and assistant I will be rendering to you all, I will ensure periodic empowerment programmes for the entire senatorial district which will accommodate large number of beneficiaries each time”.

GNI noted that he remains the ideal aspirant to support for the party’s ticket as he has demonstrated capacity, ability and knowledge to deliver.

“I am your son who you know. I have been here to see you on a number of times. My records and antecedents are in the public space and I am no mystery to you at all. I appeal that we get our representation right this time around so that we do not continue to struggle as a people”.
