A Chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Prince Gboyega Nasir Isiaka has said his decision to contest the ogun west senatorial seat in the forthcoming 2023 elections is hinged on the need to facilitate developmental initiatives and economic advancement to the region.

The Chairman, Ogun Guangdong Free Trade Zone, disclosed this in his letter of intent to contest and written to the senatorial executive of the party.

He stressed that he is seeking to represent the senatorial district with the clear intention of providing valuable and purposeful leadership that can fastrack the growth of the area.

He said, “I was born in Imeko and lived the first 20 years of my life among the people. In my adult life, I have moved around the entire Yewa-Awori land countless times; and I know the environment, the culture, the aspirations and desires of our people”.

According to him, “I have contributed to the growth of the senatorial district in many ways and what I intend to do is use this legislative platform to ensure Ogun West experiences political progress and economic advancement; by accelerating developmental initiatives to our communities and enhance the dignity of our people”.

The grassroot politician added that all through his years in public service, he had never been found wanting in character, competence and delivery in the different offices he had occupied.

“My records are clean, my antecedents are verifiable, I am a performer and will do better in this assignment”; he noted.
