The Olota of Otta, Aworiland, Oba Adeyemi Abdukabir Obalanlege, has joyfully celebrated the remarkable achievement of Aminat Olawunmi Ige, the Yeye Oge of Akesan, for being named the overall best graduating Doctoral Thesis Award Winner at the esteemed University of Lagos (UNILAG), Akoka, Lagos State.

The university officially recognized Ige’s outstanding academic performance at the conclusion of the academic session and she is set to be honored at the institution’s upcoming 54th Convocation.

Prince Adeyemi Oluses, the Principal Secretary to Olota of Otta, conveyed this information in a statement made available to newsheadline247.

Speaking on behalf of other revered monarchs of the Awori Obas Forum, Ogun State, Olota commended Dr. Ige for her exemplary achievement, hailing her as a stellar ambassador of the Awori nation, one of the prominent sub-ethnic groups of the Yoruba race.

“I extend my heartfelt congratulations to Aminat Ige for her exceptional accomplishment as the overall best graduating doctoral thesis award winner at the prestigious University of Lagos.

“I am immensely proud of her outstanding academic achievement, which serves as an inspiration for countless Awori children seeking role models and ambassadors of the Awori Nation, particularly in their academic pursuits.

“This is truly commendable! Her dedication and hard work have truly paid off,” Olota remarked.

Aminat Ige, a proud Awori indigene who earned a Ph.D. in Mathematics, has once again demonstrated that with dedication, hard work, and diligence, no record is insurmountable. She embodies the indomitable Awori spirit and truly represents the best of us.

According to the statement, the Awori Obas Forum in Ogun State plans to honor Dr. Ige at a later date in celebration of her remarkable achievement as a proud daughter of the Awori People in the State.
