Olota urged Dufil Prime management to always give priority to the host community youths in their recruitment process, staffing quota for the indigenes, improved working conditions, and be more visible in the area of CSR

The Olota of Ota, Oba (Prof.) Adeyemi Obalanlege has commended the Chief Executive Officer of Dufil Prime, Mr Adhi Narto, for his foresight and investment in the ancient City of Otta.

The revered Awori monarch made the call during his royal visit to the Eric Moore Headquarters of De United Foods on Tuesday, 27th September 2022. He commended the management for the ongoing flood control project at Afobaje/Papa Aro axis of Ota towards the popular Koro Otun as part of their corporate social responsibility and for the exemplary entrepreneurial acumen exhibited by the leadership of the company that has added to the value of Otta and sustaining her status as the leading economic/industrial hub in Ogun state.

The challenges facing the youths in the kingdom topped the discussion with emphasis on several efforts to calm the situation in collective efforts of promoting a peaceful atmosphere in aiding a sustainable business environment and to further strengthen the existing mutual relationship.

According to Obalanlege, the management should always give priority to the host community youths in their recruitment process, staffing quota for the indigenes who are in the system, improved working conditions, and be more visible in the area of CSR. The urgent need to support Ota Vocational Centre initiatives was also presented, a training hub for the youth in acquiring suitable skills that would help reduce the rate of unemployment in the kingdom.

On the directive of Olota, the Otun Maiyegun Otta, Aare Ayodele Bankole made a presentation as regards the upcoming annual Omo Iganmode Cultural Festival. The special 30th Edition of the forthcoming festival has been scheduled to hold between 12th December and 17th December 2022 in the ancient City of Otta.

Receiving the Olota entourage which includes Chief Kola Hassan (Dir. HR / Eternal Relations) Alhaji Bayo Adiamo (Dir. Tax & Legal), Tope Asiwaju (GM Public Relations /Events) and Richard Ogunye (HR&Admin Ota Plant) described the visit as an important and unforgettable one for the humble move of Olota Obalanlege to have decided to pay them a visit. He further acknowledged the support of Olota and the entire people of Ota over the years. He promised to build on the existing relationship between the organization and the community in addressing most of the challenges raised by the Awori monarch, especially on unemployment, staffing, and participation in community programs among others.

In the company of Kabiyesi Olofin Apesin Olode were; High Chief Olarenwaju Bashorun, Aare Ayodele Bankole, Chief Temitayo Idowu, Rotn Kayode Taiwo, and Prince Adeyemi Olusesi.

De United Foods Industries Limited, Noodle Division, started its operation in 1996 in Ota, Ogun State. The noodle giants are the first instant noodles manufacturing plant in Nigeria and the largest in Africa.
