Olawale Bakare, the Osun State Coordinator of the #RevolutionNow protest, who was arrested last week alongside other six activists during a peaceful protest in the state has been released.

Seven protesters were arrested last Wednesday, by men of the Department of State Services (DSS) in Osogbo, capital of Osun State, during the protest against bad governance, corruption and deplorable states of basic infrastructure.

Olowolafe Dunsi, Martins Jesuloni and Gift Martins were released to their parents on Thursday.

While Oguntola Samuel, was released on Friday, Abiodun Sanusi, and Olatokun Oyedele, were released from the cell on Saturday evening.

Bakare, also known as Mandate was, however, released on Sunday afternoon.
