Seni Adetu is the new Group Chief Executive Officer of Algorithm Media and Ogilvy Nigeria after a deal has been penned between the global agency, WPP, and the Nigerian start-up, Algorithm Media.
Ogilvy Nigeria, whose parent company is the global leading advertising, marketing and public relations company, WPP, will have an official partner and home in Algorithm Media after Seni Adetu stepped down as Managing Director of Guinness Nigeria to give entrepreneurship a shot.
Seni has before now had a successful career in the financial, corporate governance and fast consumer moving goods (FMCG) sectors with spending a cumulative 30 years in the journey.

According to him, Algorithm Media has one singular objective and that is to uplift the quality of media management in the Nigerian space owing to it’s deep understanding of the Nigerian consumers.
Seni Adetu’s Algorithm Media will own 75.1% of the business configuration while the remaining percentage go to its partners, the WPP group.
According to Seni, “Presently, the group has a number of local and multinational companies as clients including Nokia Mobile, P&G, Canon, Shell, Colgate Palmolive, Facebook, British Airways, GB Foods, Flour Mills of Nigeria, among others. Algorithm Media is now part of the WPP group conglomerate, which has in its fold – Mindshare, MediaCom and Ogilvy, noted for innovation, speed and excellence. The affiliation discussion started in 2015 and was concluded sometime in 2016.”
