Stella Star Humanitarian Foundation Launches to Foster Societal Growth

The Stella Star Humanitarian Foundation, a new non-governmental organization, aims to reduce the number of out-of-school children and improve the lives of marginalized individuals in the country.

The foundation’s mission is to create a society where everyone has access to basic needs, equal opportunities, and a chance to thrive even in a challenging economy.

During the launch, Mrs. Stella Bamidele, the foundation’s convener, highlighted that the initiative will offer scholarship programs for underprivileged students, provide medical services for all age groups, distribute food, deliver agricultural training, respond to emergencies and disasters, and empower women, particularly widows.

She emphasized, “You may wonder why we focus on children, especially girls. We believe that when you educate a woman, you educate an entire nation. Educating the girl child leads to better health for future generations and reduces child morbidity and mortality rates. This is why we are committed to bringing as many girls as possible back to school, benefiting both their communities and the country as a whole. Our mission is to provide humanitarian aid, support sustainable development, and promote social justice in African communities.”

He said, “The Stella Star Humanitarian Foundation is a strategic platform designed to promote collaborative efforts in empowering young people, women, and the less privileged. This will involve mobilizing financial, human, and technological resources to address poverty, inequality, and social exclusion through practical interventions from grassroots to national levels. Therefore, I urge everyone to provide the necessary support so that many can benefit from this initiative.”

Other attendees at the launch included internationally acclaimed DJ Hotega (Kayode Akanle), Mr. Oladipupo Bamidele, Ogp27 Pastor, Mrs. Odunsi, APICP Ebiotomieye, and various other dignitaries.
