Engr. Temitayo Agemo-Okuboyejo, the Peoples Democratic Party candidate for the House of Representatives in Ado-Odo/Ota Federal Constituency, has sponsored the NECO examination fees of 17 students in Ado-Odo/Ota Local Government Area of Ogun State as part of her continued investment in education and youth development.
The intervention, which beneficiaries and residents described as timely and impactful, reflects Agemo-Okuboyejo’s long-standing commitment to human capital development across the constituency, where she has supported several community-focused initiatives over the years.
Speaking with newsheadline247, Agemo-Okuboyejo stressed that access to quality education remains a fundamental right for every child, noting that education plays a critical role in shaping a productive society and reducing social vices among youths.
“Every child deserves access to basic and quality education regardless of their background. Education remains the bedrock of societal growth, and when young people are empowered academically, it helps reduce crime and other social vices in our communities,” she said.
She added that sustainable development can only be achieved when leaders deliberately invest in education and youth empowerment, promising to continue championing initiatives that improve the lives of residents in the constituency.
Some parents and community members commended the PDP standard bearer for the gesture, describing it as a demonstration of genuine concern for the future of young people in Ado-Odo/Ota ahead of the 2027 general election.
Agemo-Okuboyejo is contesting to represent Ado-Odo/Ota Federal Constituency on the platform of the Peoples Democratic Party in the 2027 general election.
