The Lagos State governorship election petition tribunal, has thrown out the petitions of governorship candidates of the Labour Party, LP, Gbadebo Rhodes-Vivour, GRV, and the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Olajide Adediran and affirmed Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu’s election.
Justice Mikhail Abdullah, during the rulings, affirmed Sanwo-Olu’s victory while dismissing the petitions of GRV, and Adediran.
GRV and Adediran filed separate petitions to contest the outcome of the last Lagos State governorship election.
However, the tribunal headed by Justice Abdullah dismissed the petitions of the two opposing candidates.
