Lagos State House of Assembly Speaker, Mudashiru Obasa on Thursday led some of the state government officials and other loving Nigerians from across the country in a special prayer for Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s presidential aspiration.

Tinubu, the National Leader of the All Progressives Congress, APC, is aspiring to be the next president of Nigeria after the expiration of President Muhammadu Buhari’s tenure come 2023.

A special prayer, led by Obasa, was therefore held for Tinubu right in the Holy Mosque in the kingdom of Saudi Arabia for the success and actualization of his presidential ambition.

The Lagos Speaker had in a recent Tweet post announced that there will be #Specialtawafforasiwaju in Mecca on Thursday.

According to our correspondent in Mecca, notable among those who participated in the several hour-long prayers are all the Muslim members of the State House of Assembly and the Special Adviser on Islamic affairs in the State, Alhaji Ahmed Jebe.

Others are Local Government and LCDA chairmen across the State, Muslim members of the State Statutory Board, and hundreds of Nigerian nationals who are in Mecca for the last ten days of the 2023 Ramadan joined in the special prayer and Tawaf procession for Tinubu’s victory in the 2023 Presidential race.
