Tajudeen Abbas, the lawmaker representing Zaria constituency, Kaduna State has been elected speaker of the house of representatives.

Abbas defeated Idris Wase and Sani Jaji by a landslide to win the election on Tuesday.

Hon Tajudeen Abass : 353 votes

Benjamin Kalu was elected deputy speaker of the 10th Federal House of Representatives.
