The Olota of Ota, His Majesty, Oba Professor Adeyemi Obalanlege, Lanlege Ekun II, on Wednesday appointed Aare Dele Bankole as the Chairman for the Central Planning Committee of the much anticipated 2021 Iganmode Cultural Festival.
The Arole Iganmode-Olofin also announced popular On Air Personality, Chief Erelu Kafayat Adeola Orisile, Chairman Ado-Odo/Ota LG, Hon. Sheriff Musa, two term Ogun State House of Assembly member, Hon. Nurudeen Akinpelu Aina and the Chief Press Secretary to the governor of Ogun State, Chief Kunle Somorin among others as members of the CPC.
The revered Awori monarch, in a statement signed by the Secretary to the Olota of Otta, Awori Kingdom, Prince Adeyemi S. Olusesi, said the appointment of Mr Bankole as the Chairman of the Committee was informed by his immense contribution in promoting the cultural heritage of the kingdom.
Eight other “distinguished and eminent personalities” from the ancient town were also appointed as members of the Committee.

The Arole Iganmode-Olofin & Olota of Otta, Awori Kingdom, His Majesty, Professor Adeyemi Obalanlege Ph.D (Lanlege Ekun II) has appointed Aare Dele Bankole as the Chairman for the 2021 Iganmode Cultural Festival.
The appointment of Aare Bankole as the Chairman, Central Planning Committee for the annual cultural event was informed by his vast, admirable, and entrenched interest in promoting the cultural heritage of Otta-Awori kingdom as well as fostering unity amongst her people.
Similarly, eight other distinguished and eminent personalities were also appointed as members of the Central Planning Committee.
They are:

3. Chief Kunle Somorin
4. Prince Femi Fadina
5. Hon Nurudeen Akinpelu Aina
6. Chief Temitayo Idowu
7. Chief Erelu Kafayat Adeola Orisile
8. Princess Adenike Akindele Eleku

The Iganmode Cultural Festival is a historic and annual event dedicated to promoting and exhibiting the exquisite culture and tradition of the Aworis at large. It is equally significant as as a medium to pray to our ancestors for the continuous economic viability, peace, and political order in Aworiland, Ogun State, and Nigeria at large.
