The troubled Lagos transport union boss, Musiliu Akinsanya, popularly known as MC Oluomo, is beginning to experience the new reality after losing out in the union power tussle.
Some of the supporters and praise singers of the famous National Union of Transport Union Workers better known as MC Oluomo have started jumping ship.
A popular fuji musician, Sulaimon Oladele Oyeneye popularly known as Atawewe is said to have switched sides.
Atawewe is said to have become a regular fixture in the camp of MC Oluomo’s replacement as the NURTW Chairman in Lagos state, Mustapha Adekunle.
Adekunle otherwise known as Mustapha Seego is the transport union’s treasurer earmarked to take over as Chairman at th end of January.
Atawewe who is also based in Lagos state is said to have since become a constant companion of Seego.
The fuji musician is said to seize every opportunity to take potshots at MC Oluomo in an extreme show of support for Seego.
Seego and MC Oluomo were extremely close – and Atawewe one of their unrelenting praise singers – before existing tension separated them.
Once inaugurated as the Lagos state chairman of the NURTW later this month, Seego will become the sole controller of the most lucrative transport union spot in the country – and a strong voice in the sector.
