Former vice president Atiku Abubakar has been declared as the most credible, corrupt-free and experienced among the presidential aspirants of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) by The Atiku Care Foundation.
The group also described the Waziri Adamawa as a simple and humble person with high pedigree and antecedent that would definitely lead Nigeria back to greatness.
The foundation made the claim through its North Central Zonal Coordinator, Golkuna Gotom told Daily Trust NG in Jos Friday.
Mr Gotom said, “Atiku Abubakar is a simple and humble person, he has a high pedigree and antecedent that would definitely lead Nigeria to greatness.”
He said that Atiku deserves to be the president because the North West have taken their share during late Yar’adua’s administration and the people of North East – the zone Atiku came from were shortchanged.
“And now since the party leadership has zoned the presidential candidate to come from the North, it should go to North East and Atiku is the one who deserves to be the PDP’s presidential candidate,” he said.
He added that Atiku was far more deserving to be the candidate of PDP because of his experience and pedigree.
“He has served as vice president for eight years, he has industries in Nigeria, from Adamawa to Port Harcourt, and currently building big hospital in Abuja.
“If he becomes President no single Nigerian should go to England or US for medication again, because he is building big hospital here, he is using his personal money for the betterment of health sector in Nigeria.” He concluded.
