According to court papers made available, Senior Lawyer Kemi Pinheiro is handling Smooth Promotions brief against Heritage Bank.
Smooth Promotions, via a case filed at the Federal High Court in Lagos, claims Heritage Bank fraudulently deducted insurance premiums from Smooth Promotions account without remitting the money to the insurance company, charged interests that were not agreed to and a forensic audit found that almost N200m worth of charges “incorrect”.
The court papers revealed allegations of lack of decorum, barefaced deceit and cooked charges against Heritage bank.
