‘I’ve Got A Canadian Passport, Nobody Can Deport Me…,’ Woman Who Threatened To Kill Yorubas, Edo People Boasts
“Somebody just sent me a message saying they have arrested me and are about to deport me. With my passport? I am a Canadian. Mad people!”
As the Nigerian government calls for the prosecution of a woman, Amaka Patience Sunnberger, who is threatening to kill Yoruba and Edo people in Canada, she has remained adamant.
Some have called for her deportation from the popular country to which many Nigerians have migrated but she has boasted that she cannot be deported because she is a Canadian with the country’s passport.
The woman, who seems to be drunk with ethnic hatred, first caused a stir in a Tiktok video when she aired her intention to commit the mass murder
The Director General of the Nigerian in Diaspora Commission, Abike Dabiri-Erewa, had raised the alarm while the House of Representatives also called for Sunnberger’s arrest.
But responding in another TikTok clip, she boasted: ‘’Somebody just sent me a message saying they have arrested me and are about to deport me. With my passport? I am a Canadian. Mad people!”
Although she cannot be deported as she claims, experts and other stakeholders will wait to see how Canadian law views the kind of threat she is making.
This is happening as Nigeria continues to grapple with hate speech and suspicion, which have been central to its challenges.
