ABEOKUTA, Ogun State — The Adorable Sisters for Yayi have announced plans to hold a grand Public Declaration of Support urging Senator Solomon Olamilekan Adeola (Yayi), the lawmaker representing Ogun West Senatorial District, to join the Ogun State governorship race in 2027.
The highly anticipated event will also serve as a reaffirmation of the group’s unwavering support for the re-election of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR.

According to the organisers in a statement made available to newsheadline247, the public declaration will take place on Thursday, November 13, 2025, at Ontec Event Centre, Madojutimi Bus Stop, Abiola Way, Abeokuta, beginning at 12:00 noon. The event will feature a special guest performance by popular Fuji icon Alhaji Sefiu Alao Adekunle.
A large turnout is expected, with political leaders, traditional rulers, women and youth groups, and community influencers from across Ogun State and beyond already confirming attendance.
The declaration is being organised under the umbrella of the Adorable Sisters’ Mindset Foundation, a non-governmental organisation (NGO) founded nearly a decade ago with a mission to empower women, widows, and youths across Lagos and Ogun States.
Through its numerous empowerment initiatives — from financial assistance and welfare programmes to civic engagement and political mobilisation — the foundation has become a leading voice for grassroots development and women’s participation in governance.
Led by its Founder and President, Chief (Mrs.) Ramat Ashabi Ade Abiodun Sodolamu, the organisation has built a strong presence across all local government areas in Ogun State, with local coordinators managing community-level projects.
Chief (Mrs.) Sodolamu, who also holds the Chieftaincy Title of Erelu of Ajebo Land, conferred by Oba Reuben Olalekan Oluwole, the Alajebo of Ajebo Land, is known for her philanthropy and dedication to social progress.

“Our support for Senator Yayi is rooted in his visionary leadership, his deep commitment to the people, and his record of empowering communities,” Chief Sodolamu said.
“We believe his emergence as governor will bring greater inclusivity, development, and hope to Ogun State.”
The Adorable Sisters for Yayi Support Group was established by the foundation to promote the senator’s ideals of service, empowerment, and progressive governance.
Over the years, the group has worked actively to support Yayi’s humanitarian and political efforts, contributing to community programmes and political mobilisation.
Some of their notable initiatives include, distributing food items to residents of Ilaro and Ifekowajo during Ramadan, donating educational materials to children during Children’s Day celebrations, delivering palliatives and calendars to residents of Ajebo, Obafemi Owode Local Government Area; and supporting major political events such as the inauguration of the Director-General of Caucus 7202 and Senator Yayi’s birthday celebrations.
The group says the forthcoming declaration is not just a show of political solidarity but also a call to action for all progressives in Ogun State to unite behind Senator Yayi’s vision for development.
“Senator Adeola has demonstrated exceptional leadership and a strong connection to the grassroots. The time has come for him to lead Ogun State,” said Comrade Kareem Shakiru Abayomi, the group’s Director of Publicity, New Media & Strategy.
The Adorable Sisters for Yayi are set to turn Abeokuta into a rallying point of political enthusiasm as they publicly declare their support for Senator Solomon Olamilekan Adeola (Yayi) to contest the Ogun 2027 Governorship Election, while reaffirming loyalty to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s leadership vision.
