Stella Star Foundation Facilitates Medical Outreach, Empower Widows, Marks 2nd Anniversary
As part of its continued commitment to supporting vulnerable women both young and old, the Stella Star Humanitarian Foundation has organized a medical outreach and also distributed essential food items to over 500 females in Ogun State to mark it’s second year anniversary.
The outreach, themed “Building Strength in Adversity for Women,” became necessary as the need to empower more women in society came to the fore more than ever.
Marking the second anniversary, apart from empowering about 50 widows with apprenticeship skills and financial assistance, there was an interschool debate where all participating schools got financial assistance while some selected senior school students got free WAEC. The foundation’s efforts were met with deep appreciation from local residents, community leaders, and volunteers who worked tirelessly to ensure smooth distribution.
Reacting to the foundation’s kind gesture, the Olota of Otta, HRH Oba Abdulkabir Obalanlege Ẹkùn II emphasized the need for women to always lend a helping hands to one another
“I salute the initiative of Pastor Mrs Stella Bamidele for taking cognisance of widows, old women and young girls who are always not recognized by many money bags. Not just offering medical assistance, she went as far as distributing essential food items and encouraging school-age girls to be determined to make meaningful impact in the society. We need to applaud this initiative and support her, the royal father said.
The Stella Star Humanitarian Foundation is a non-governmental organization dedicated to improving the lives of vulnerable families through strategic humanitarian interventions in areas such as nutrition, education, and health. Since its inception, the foundation has impacted thousands of lives across Ogun State with a vision to expand across Nigeria.
