Agemo-Okuboyejo Pledges Support for Film Project After TAMPAN Honour in Agbara-Igbesa
The Agbara-Igbesa Chapter of the Theatre Arts and Motion Pictures Practitioners Association of Nigeria (TAMPAN) has honoured Engr. Temitayo Agemo-Okuboyejo with the Award of Distinguished Politician at its recent Love Fiesta programme.
Agemo-Okuboyejo, Chief Executive Officer of the Temitayo Agemo-Okuboyejo Renaissance Project and a Federal House of Representatives aspirant under the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), described the recognition as both humbling and inspiring.
“I write with a heart full of gratitude to sincerely appreciate the leadership and entire members of TAMPAN, Agbara-Igbesa Chapter, for the great honor bestowed upon me,” she said.
Reacting to the award, Agemo-Okuboyejo said she views the recognition as more than a personal milestone.
“Being recognized and presented with the Award of Distinguished Politician is deeply humbling and profoundly inspiring. I consider this recognition not just as a personal achievement, but as a call to continue serving our people with integrity, compassion, and unwavering commitment to community development,” she stated.
She emphasized the importance of the creative industry in national development, noting that practitioners play a critical role in shaping societal values and preserving cultural heritage.
“The creative industry plays a vital role in shaping values, preserving culture, and promoting unity within our society. Your thoughtful gesture reinforces the importance of collaboration between leadership and the arts community in building a more progressive and harmonious society,” she added.
Agemo-Okuboyejo further expressed appreciation for the warm reception extended to her during the Love Fiesta celebration and pledged support for the association’s upcoming film project.
“I am truly grateful for this honor and for the warm reception extended to me during the celebration. I have promised myself to support your upcoming film project in the chapter,” she affirmed.
She also prayed for the continued growth and impact of the association.
“May your association continue to grow in strength, creativity, and impact, fostering love and excellence in all your endeavors.”
The recognition is seen as another indication of growing engagement between political leaders and creative industry stakeholders in Ogun State, particularly within the Agbara-Igbesa axis. Read More
