Olootu of Ota Congratulates Ansar-u-Deen Society Ota on Ramadan Lecture, Prays for Unity
The Olootu of Ota, Aworiland, Waliu Olajide Ojuko, has extended warm Ramadan greetings to the Ansar-ud-Deen Society of Nigeria, Ota Branch, as the Islamic body hosts its annual Ramadan public lecture.
In a goodwill message made available to Newsheadline247, the respected traditional stakeholder congratulated the leadership and entire members of the society for their steadfast commitment to Islamic teachings and community development.
Chief Ojuko specifically commended the Chairman of the Ota Branch, Alhaji Yahaya Dada; the Missioner, Sheikh (Barrister) Ali Dawood; and the Chairperson, Alhaja Bushirat Dada, for their leadership and dedication.
Describing Ramadan as a sacred period of spiritual renewal, the Olootu urged Muslims to embrace the essence of the holy month through reflection, compassion, and devotion.
“I wish the leadership and entire members of Ansar-u-Deen Society of Nigeria, Ota, a Ramadan filled with reflection and mercy. May this month be a turning point toward greater piety and a closer connection to our Creator,” he stated.
He emphasized that beyond fasting, Ramadan represents an opportunity for moral rebirth and deeper spiritual consciousness.
The revered Awori leader also prayed for strengthened unity within Ota and surrounding communities, stressing the importance of brotherhood and peaceful coexistence.
“I pray that this Ramadan strengthens the bonds of brotherhood and sisterhood in our town, Ota, and beyond,” he added.
Chief Ojuko concluded his message with the traditional greeting: “Ramadan Kareem.”
