Nollywood actress Iyabo Ojo has raised the alarm over what she described as an alleged plot against her, accusing unidentified individuals of working behind the scenes to target her.
Ojo made the allegation in a cryptic post shared on her Instagram page on Thursday, where she referred to those allegedly behind the plot as her “detractors”.
The actress, however, said she remained unperturbed and would continue to follow “due process and institutional independence” in dealing with the situation.
While she did not identify the individuals allegedly involved or disclose details of the purported plot, Ojo linked the development to her consistent stance against injustice.
“I’m aware my detractors are plotting. I’m solidly on ground. As law abiding citizens, we shall keenly observe adherence to the rule of law.
“Our eyes are seeing the crooked plans and camouflaged visits. Our ears are hearing the silent whisperings. Likewise, our lips won’t cease to speak to the consciousness of society. The truth shall emerge in earnest”, she wrote.
The actress’s post has sparked reactions among her followers, with many seeking clarification on the identities of the alleged detractors and the circumstances surrounding the warning.
Ojo did not provide further details about the alleged plot in the post, but her comments suggest she intends to remain vocal while relying on established legal and institutional processes.
