Afrobeats superstar Davido has added another international accolade to his growing list of achievements after winning the Best International Act at the 2026 Liberian Entertainment Awards.
The ceremony, which took place on April 25 at the Lisner Auditorium in Washington, D.C., saw the Nigerian singer edge out strong contenders including Gunna, Rema, and Tyla to claim the coveted prize.
The win was confirmed by ChartsAfrica in a post on X (formerly Twitter) on Monday, stating:
“#davido has emerged victorious at the 2026 Liberian Entertainment Awards, clinching the prestigious award for Best International Act.”
The latest recognition further cements Davido’s status as one of Afrobeats’ leading global ambassadors, as Nigerian artists continue to dominate major international award stages amid the genre’s expanding worldwide influence.
The Liberian Entertainment Awards, established in 2009, celebrate excellence across music, film, fashion, sports, and community service, honouring both Liberian talents and members of the diaspora.
