Award-winning Nigerian singer Adekunle Gold has been officially unveiled as the Brand Ambassador for The Macallanin Nigeria, marking a new partnership built on shared ideals of creativity, excellence, craftsmanship and legacy.
The announcement was made during the unveiling of The Macallan Timeless Collection held at The Anthonia by Civic Centre in Ikoyi, Lagos. The event attracted notable guests from Nigeria’s entertainment, business and media industries and also featured the introduction of the whisky brand’s newly redesigned Double Cask and Sherry Oak Collections.
Speaking at the event, Adekunle Gold described the collaboration as a natural alignment of values centred on authenticity and intentionality.
According to the singer, both his creative journey and The Macallan’s heritage reflect a commitment to producing timeless work through patience and dedication. He added that the partnership represents an exciting opportunity to create meaningful cultural experiences together.
The official unveiling follows months of collaborations between both parties, including curated cultural experiences and brand activations. Among them was the exclusive Coco Money dinner hosted at Kaly Restaurant in Victoria Island, Lagos, as well as the integration of The Macallan into Adekunle Gold’s Coco Money music video and launch campaign.
The partnership also extended to activities surrounding the singer’s Fuji album celebrations in October 2025, further strengthening the relationship between the music star and the luxury whisky brand.
Also speaking on the collaboration, Hammed Adebiyi, Senior Brand Manager for Nigeria, West and Central Africa at Edrington, said the partnership reflects the brand’s commitment to culture, creativity and enduring excellence.
